Penyanyi 90an: Gorillaz, Misteri di Balik Karakter Hologram

Fimela.com, Jakarta Generasi 90an tentunya sudah tidak asing dengan grup misterius, Gorillaz. Selalu menampakkan diri dengan 4 karakter hologram, band beraliran alternative rock ini jadi misteri yang mengundang rasa penasaran.

Gorillaz terbentuk sejak 1997, dengan dua penggagas yang bersembunyi di balik karakter virtual. Adalah vokalis Blur, Damon Albarn yang bekerjasama dengan Jamie Hewlett selaku seniman yang menciptakan keempat karakter personel Gorillaz.

Damon Albarn konsisten dengan identitasnya yang tersembunyi, dan merepresentasikan dirinya melalui musik. Karena bersifat sebagai project Albarn di luar Blur, Gorillaz sempat jadi kontroversi.

Namun mereka diterima dengan baik oleh para penikmat musik. Damon Albarn di balik Gorillaz sudah menelurkan 5 studio album sepanjang kariernya. Yang terakhir mereka merilis Humanz pada April 2017 kemarin. Misteri dan konsistensinya berjalan beriringan, menjadikannya sebagai salah satu fenomena langka di industri musik.
