Fimela.com, Jakarta Kalau film layar lebar punya Oscar atau Academy Awards sebagai penghargaan tertinggi, maka acara televisi punya penghargaan serupa bertajuk ‘Emmy Awards‘ yang kembali diselenggarakan tahun ini.
Daftar nominasi Emmy Awards 2016 baru saja secara resmi diumumkan. Acara televisi apa yang dinilai sebagai yang terbaik tahun ini di Hollywood? Ternyata peraih nominasi terbanyak dipegang oleh serial fantasi ‘Game of Thrones‘ dengan 23 nominasi termasuk penghargaan tertinggi “Serial Drama terbaik”.
Disusul oleh The People Vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story dengan 22 nominasi dan mini seri Fargo dengan 18 nominasi. Di tahun lalu, Games of Thrones berjaya dengan meraih 12 piala. The 68th Primetime Emmy Awards memberikan piala terbaik untuk acara televisi yang disiarkan dari tanggal 1 Juni 2015 sampai 31 Mei 2016.
Acara penghargaannya sendiri akan disiarkan secara langsung di stasiun televisi ABC pada tanggal 18 September 2016 mendatang. Ajang Emmy Awards akan digelar di Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, AS, dan akan dipandu oleh Jimmy Kimmel. Siapa saja yang akan keluar sebagai pemenang? Berapa piala yang akan diraih Games of Thrones?
